Dirty Martini ( but, like, EXTRA Dirty )

It’s important, in times like these, to do things that induce a feeling of normalcy, if you will.

Apparently, for me, that means blacking out in my living room, ruining my life in the limited ways available to me ( i.e. FaceTiming men ) while stuck in quarantine. The devil works hard, but drunk Payton works harder.

LOL, jokes. Kind of. That’s only happened like ONCE in the last month & it was an ACCIDENT. I have employed some self-control since. I’ve really matured in the last two weeks.

That being said, that fateful, hazy night was brought to you by a few too many dirty martinis; I had forgotten about their secret, intense powers over my inhibitions.

My point is: here is a dirty martini recipe that will either, 1) leave you feelin’ fancy & fresh, or 2) force you to FaceTime every man you’ve ever wanted to bone ( & even a few you legitimately would NEVER. ya idk ).

There’s a thin line between these two outcomes, & I seem to cross it the moment I take a sip of martini #3.

Do with that info what you will, and let’s get into the recipe.

INGREDIENTS

2.5 oz Vodka

.5 oz Dry Vermouth

1-1.5 oz Olive Juice

Olives for Garnish

HOW-TO

I like to chill the vodka & olive juice beforehand. I also chill the glass I’m using to feel extra fancy.

Combine all ingredients ( except for olives ) in a shaker ( PRO TIP: I use a water bottle if my shaker isn’t clean ). &, as you probably assumed, pour into your chilled martini glass + add olives.

I like extra, EXTRA olive juice, BTW. YUM.

You can find a lil video of kelsey ( my BFF ) & I making these martinis here ( we also go on to enjoy the martinis & some laughs, if you’re interested in happy times & watching us giggle for 30 minutes straight ).

Anywho, I hope y’all love this dirty ‘tini recipe. It’s comin’ at ya just in time for the weekend! This timing though… it’s almost like I planned it.

Hope y’all are staying happy & healthy! MUCH LOVE, & talk soon. x
