Hi gals!!
I’m still trying to get my life together after spending a week eating, drinking, & living the DREAM in New York City. I’ll have a full fashion week recap on the blog in a few days!
I’m SO pumped to share my first REAL fashion week experience with y’all. It was a week to remember… & I have a ton of amazing people to thank for that. We’ll discuss later, for sure.
Also, I’ll definitely be making some updates to my New York City Guide.
I wanted to make sure to get this outfit up ASAP, though, because everyone really seemed to dig it.
Shop What I Wore to NYFW
This leopard-print turtleneck is the perfect understated print to pair with a mini skirt, jeans, or shorts. I’m not usually into prints, but this neutral leopard is simple enough to fit right into my closet.
Even though it’s a mega-covering turtleneck, I still think this top is sexy. I can really dig something thats a little inadvertently sexy, especially in the fall & winter months when showing skin really isn’t an option.
The skirt I’m wearing here is also going to be a fall staple, I can already tell. The fit, the quality, the color….. everything is flawless. I threw on a pair of OTK boots for this look ( should I do another OTK boot round-up? lemme know if y’all want something like that! ) to give it a little something extra.
It’s safe to say I’ll be living in OTK boots for the next few months. They’re too hot.
Hope everyone has a fucking amazzzzzing weekend. I’ll be taking it easy here in LA.
In attempts to save a little money ( NYC emptied my bank account! ), I’ll be making plenty of healthy-girl, at-home recipes for the next few days. You can find a number of them in my Recipe Index ( like the spaghetti squash I made last night ) & you can see a breakdown of a few on snapchat ( payton_sartain ) in the next few days!
Talk soon, loves. xx
