Fall Style: Head-to-Toe Black

TGIF, beebs.

I have been DYING / SO STRESSED about work, school, life, etc. this week ( hence the post I did on how to deal with an ‘off day’ ), so Friday couldn’t come fast enough!

After dealing with a short ( & kind of fun ) to-do list, I’m freeing myself of all responsibilities until Sunday morning!

Tomorrow is game day here in College Station, and I will be displaying my Aggie spirit by drinking mimosas & indulging in some BRUNCH-y food ASAP.

And I have already decided to wear this little number to the game, because I rediscovered it while I was cleaning out my closet yesterday night & I fell in love all over again. Okay, so on to the previously scheduled post.

I’m not usually an all-black kinda gal, but I’m SO loving this look RN.

First of all, this top from Nasty Gal is the coolest thing ever. I like how it makes wearing black look light, airy, and… angelic, actually. That’s not an easy task.

I’m kind of LOL-ing internally at the reactions I’m sure to get wearing this out in my relatively conservative college town. The sheer top / visible bra trend hasn’t really hit us here yet ( & I don’t think it ever will ). I.e. I’m going to look like I’m trying to be scandalous, as per usual.

Ugh. Can you say BORING?? If this is scandal, I’m going to make sure the drama stays alive & well.

As far as the accessories, I got this bag ( also from Nasty Gal ) for a steal, and it looks extremely similar to the very popular Chloe cross body of the season. Except it is about $1,800 cheaper.

Poor girls gotta look good too.

These MICHAEL by Michael Kors booties ( similar here ) are a recent favorite for this fall because they’re so simple, comfortable, versatile, and SUCH good quality. I found these babies at Marshalls during my last collaboration with the store, and it was kind of LOVE at first sight.

Who even needs a boyfriend when you have the perfect pointed toe booties??

Right…………?
