Maroon Dress ( ft. Free People )

Morning, guys!

Currently, I’m still getting over the fact that I am back at school, hanging out in class after this weekend in Austin.

I’m not a huge music festival person, because I hate crowds, excessively loud music while standing in crowds, being pressed up against sweaty people in crowds, people in general… etc. BUT, despite all of this, I actually had a good time at Austin City Limits this year.

I saw Drake for the 4th time ( lol… yeah I don’t LOVE Drake at all or anything ) in concert & he was absolutely KILLER. Yet again.

Other cool shiz from the festival: HOLY fried chicken & avocado patties ( the best thing I’ve ever had ), being able to buy an entire bottle of wine served in a sports water bottle ( see my Instagram for photo evidence… this may have been the highlight of the weekend ), & falling in love with ASAP Rocky ( like… actual love ).

Another highlight from the weekend? After day 2 ( two days is all I can handle ), instead of going out and getting rowdy with my girls, I went back to where I was staying, got a hamburger & fries delivered, and watched New Girl on Netflix all alone in the dark with my food. The perfect ending to a crazy weekend ( #lonerandproud ).

Also while in Austin this weekend, I had the chance to shoot a few looks with Todd White, a photographer I’ve been wanting to work with for awhile now! I’m so pumped to share those images with y’all…. Ugh, I love Austin, TX.

I featured this maroon dress on my A&M/UT Game Day Guide not too long ago, because I dig the way it fits. I’m all about the lower-cut back/side. A little side boob action never hurt a fly (*insert sly-faced emoji here*).

Oh, & TMI ( but necessary info ): I wore nipple covers/petals, and secured the dress with fashion tape to ensure there wasn’t any accidental boob falling out of the side. You could also wear a little lacey bralette with this to hold in the boobz.

Luckily for you beebuses, this slip dress in ON SALE right now, so get it before it’s gone! Other colors it comes in ( & I want them all ): dark green ( yum ), a lavender/gray color, black, soft pink, & charcoal.

I also like the idea of layering this slip under an oversized sweater & tossing on some over-the-knee boots for colder weather.

Just a thought, ya know?

& another thing: I hate to break the bad news to y’all, but the shoes I’m wearing in this post ( and pretty much every other post.. LOL ) are SOLD OUT! I’m sorry to keep teasing y’all with their amazingness, but I can’t help it.

If anyone knows where to find any similar lace-up flatforms like this, lemme know! I’ve been trying to find some like it for awhile now, and I’m having horrible luck.

OH, & MY NEW TATTOO!

I finally got two teeny black tattoos ( after months of deliberation ) a couple of weeks ago, and now they’re all healed and perfect!

I, personally, have never been much of a tattoo girl, but I love my teeny little tats. I have another black one on my wrist, as seen here, and couple of white ones that aren’t really visible anymore.

On my rib cage, I have a tiny little Sowilo, which is a Rune symbol meaning Sun. It is the rune of guidance, goal setting, and success. I got this after my experience living in Los Angeles, because I think that it is SUPER representative of my time there. I’ll be back soon for you LA, and I miss you dearly.

Welp, time to kick this week’s ass, amiright?? We’ll be prepping for the Texas A&M/Alabama football game here in College Station this week, which is a HUGE deal for us Ags. Shoutout to my gals who waited in line at the stadium for our game tickets from 5 AM – 9 AM today… y’all are the true heroes.
