It’s no secret that I’m a HUGE fan of GALentine’s Day.
Considering I’m THE most single human being on the face of the planet ( hey, no complaints here! ), the whole conventional Valentine’s Day thing just hasn’t really been for me.
I’m also one of those people who loves to entertain, decorate, & do things holiday-themed, so Galentine’s Day presents the perfect opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my favorite girlfriends.
& it gives me an excuse to go over-board with the blush tones in decor, foods, my outfit, etc. LOLz.
This year, my roomie beeb, Molly, & I are going to be celebrating our BFF Galentine’s day during New York Fashion Week.
We’ve teamed up with Urban Outfitters to share our unconventional BFF Love Story to celebrate Valentine’s Day!
Molls & I both move out to Los Angeles last summer, after graduating from our respective colleges. I went to Texas A&M University ( the best TX school… duh ) & she went to the University of Texas.
We had been following each other on Instagram for awhile before making the move ( style blogging isn’t as wide-spread in Texas as it is here in LA, so it’s a smaller community out there! ). Molly & I had a number of mutual friends, & once we realized that we were both planning on moving to LA, we decided to be roomies!
Molly & I hit it off from day one like we’d known each other forever.
We’re different enough to carry with us our unique perspectives, personalities & opinions, but we’re similar in the most important ways: we’re both purpose-driven, respectful of each other, creative, & confident in ourselves.
Basically, every ingredient you need in a girly-gal friendship.
Like Molly said in her love story post, the blogging world can be competitive, filled with girls who seem to compare & compete with others.
Since moving in together, Molly & I have supported, inspired, & pushed each other to KILL IT with our respective outlets. We have found that supporting & helping each other ( in every arena in life, not just blogging ) is SO MUCH BETTER, because we’re all different people with with different personalities, goals, desires, styles, etc.
I wouldn’t wanna spend GALentine’s day with anyone else ( especially considering we’ll be running around NYC for fashion week! ).
Molls & I have partnered with Urban Outfitters before, because who DOESN’T love UO? We’re both obsessed with their aesthetic, price-point, & super-fast shipping.
Right now, I’m all about UO’s cozy sweaters, perfect-fit jeans, & assortment of chic tennis shoes.
In this post, I’m wearing: a Cozy Peach-Hue Knit & Girlfriend High-Rise Jeans, and Molly is sporting: a Fuzzy Button-Up Crop Sweater & Ripped Mom Jeans.
So, who’s your GALentine?? Are y’all getting together with your girlfriends to celebrate the BFF love??
BTW: I have the perfect champagne spritzer & sweet lil dessert for your celebrations.
Talk soon, babes. xx

Adore both of you! I loved reading her take on this as well. It’s so awesome that even though you have two completely different personalities, you hit it off so well.
