This Outfit Makes Me Want to Say “YASSS BETCH” ( in River Island )

Can y’all GET OVER THESE PHOTOS?? I cannot. Claire makes my life so much easier with her eye for photos. Seriously, I’m always bothering her to shoot because her images are always my favorite ( typical roomie appreciation moment ).

I partnered with River Island to bring y’all this chic-as-hell Fall dress & white bootie combo ( view last month’s River Island look here ), and I can’t get enough of this outfit. This dress is so doll-like & conservative that I kind of surprised myself with this choice.

High-Neck Ruffle Dress: This burgundy & navy checkered dress has a lot going on in the BEST way. It’s ultra-flattering, cinching at the waist & tying around the neck. Silver studded embellishment lines the front neckline and ruffles fall along the shoulders & elbows. If that’s not the best product description ever, I don’t know what is. This would also look SO chic with some bomb over-knee boots.

White Leather Booties: This is a HUGE trend for fall ( trend product round-up on white booties soon?? ). I saw this style of boot on some of my favorite fashion icons/influencers during fashion week this year, & I’m so on board with this trend. These white leather booties from River Island are genuine leather, so they’re high-quality and comfy. I cannot wait to wear these ALL the time, friends.

What I really love about River Island, a UK-based online marketplace, is how ladylike everything on the site is. Even their crop tops & mini skirts are, somehow, classy. Maybe its that UK-effortlessly-hot vibe, but leaving a little to the imagination goes a long way, as I’ve learned from RI.

I threw my hair in a messy low bun with this outfit, as I usually do with high-neck dresses/tops. I also love a fun high pony-tail with this type of look as well. Do y’all do this too? Come up with a million ways to style/wear a dress in a number of situations??

I’m thinking: this dress with over-knee boots, a high pony, small hoops, & a burgundy lip. I mean… not to get too detailed here…. LOL. This is the type of shit that makes me REALLY excited, HA.

To balance out the retro white boots in this outfit, I put on a pair of vintage-inspired white shades. I can dig it.

Claire & I had a blast shooting this look ( plz see two photos above, me trying to escape the photoshoot in a not-so-graceful fashion ), as per usual. Is this my life???? Is this my job??? I’m in.

So, today I’m headed to a lunch meeting, working forever, getting in a solid workout, & going to celebrate the launch of PrettyLittleThing X Kourtney Kardashian later tonight. I hope KK & I become best friends, because if I’m any Kardashian at all, it’s her. We are the same.
