SO, For those of you who don’t already know about Rent The Runway/have been living under a rock, RTR is a website that allows you to RENT women’s contemporary fashions for a fraction of the original price. They’ll send you your rental ( in TWO sizes of your choosing! ) & the return packaging/label. It’s extra easy.
BTW, this isn’t sponsored or anything, I just really think RTR is cool AF.
You can choose a 4-day rental option or an 8-day rental option depending on your time frame. Also, you can usually rent a second style for half of the rental price ( for example, you can rent the dress of your dreams AND a back-up option for half-off ). I mean… unreal.
I used to be in LOVE with Rent the Runway for formal events & such, and I totally forgot about it… until right now.
So, Here’s your friendly reminder that you can RENT AMAZING CLOTHING for any & all events, nights out, dates, etc. This is also a really cool idea for bloggers shooting fashion stuffz.
I hadn’t been on the Rent the Runway website since high school, and DAYUM did it get a makeover not too long ago. You can rent tops, pants, jumpers, dresses, jewelry, handbags, etc. I’m kinda really freaking out about it if you couldn’t already tell…
I think using RTR ( last minute… whoops ) for your holiday attire is basically genius. You can get something special & nice, pay a fraction of the actual price for it, and send it back when you’re done.
Also, everything you rent is insured in this price.
$139 may seem like a lot, but for someone who spends a large amount of money on clothes & accessories monthly, it may not be a horrible idea. You can learn more about the RTR Unlimited here.
ALSO: As a first-time user, you can get 20% your first rental using the code:
FIRSTRTR20P
SO, basically you can’t go wrong with this one.
I’m obsessed.
BTW: I’m having the best time in NYC right now! Anyone have any suggestions for things to do/eat/drink/see? I’m looking for places to try & add to my NYC Guide… as per usual.
We’re staying on the Lower East Side this time, & I’m really diggin’ it.
Follow me on Instagram/Snapchat ( payton_sartain ) to tag along, &/or comment/snap me your suggestions!
Bye beebs.
