VLOG | Miami Recap

Hellllllo, friends!!

It took me a hot sec to put this blog together, but the time has COME to share my most recent trip to Miami ( Cc: @HighEndHippie… my travel bud )!

Our original plan ( that failed miserably ) was to attend Fyre Festival for weekend 2 ( thank GODDDD we had tickets for weekend 2/waited to see how weekend 1 panned out ). If you aren’t up to date on the shitshow that was Fyre Festival, back up to this post.

So, instead of completely canceling our getaway, and ruining all the fun, we decided to keep our trip to Miami ( our pre-festival plan ) booked, and take a few days to CHILL on the beach.

It. was. amazing. One of the most relaxing trips of my life.

We did ALL of my favorite Miami things, sipped rosé, & relaxed. Our little vlog documents most of the things we did in Miami, but I wanted to share some details on my go-to spots in this post.

stay

Shore Club: we were lucky enough to score a room at Shore Club this trip, a boutique hotel right on the white sands of South Beach. I definitely recommend it!

food & drink

Joe’s Stone Crab: literally the best meal of my life every time I visit. You can’t make reservations, but it’s SO worth the wait! I recommend the stone crab ( obviously ) & the key lime pie!

Sweet Liberty: Kristen & I accidentally discovered this place last time we were in Miami, & it’s still a fav! Their cocktails are award-winning ( literally ) & the food is yum.

The Standard Deck: the CUTEST place for cocktails & apps with the best sunset view!

Soho House: if you know someone who is a member at Soho House, definitely try to spend a day there! The vibe, the food, the pool, the beach. It’s my favorite little oasis.

things to do

Beach & Pool ( duh ): many of the hotels in South Beach have private beach space & pools to lounge by! Whether you’re looking to day party or lounge, you can find a spot on South Beach to fit your needs.

Wynwood: such a cool part of town filled with lots of art, coffee shops, & restaurants. If you have time, definitely try to make it to Wynwood for the day!

PAMM: The Perez Art Museum Miami is 1) so pretty alone and 2) filled with lots of amazing art. We stopped by during Art Basel last year & loved it.
