MAX GENGOS Because I’m Having New York Fashion Week FOMO

Did y’all catch yesterday’s 4-7-8 breathing technique post? I’m so obsessed, so I’ll probably be talking about it forever. Sorry not sorry. I just think everyone should know about that little trick.

Alright, moving on.

I am having SO MUCH New York Fashion Week FOMO rn. I went for the first time ( which is where I spotted this Max Gengos Telesto Tuxedo Dress ) last fall & I’m so intrigued by the madness/chaos of fashion week.

Usually, I don’t wear high-end designer labels in my everyday outfits ( I buy high-end shoes & bags occasionally, but not tops/dresses/etc. ), so seeing all of the glamorous clothing is kind of like going to an art museum for me TBH.

I just want to SEE it all.

As I’ve said a GAZILLION times, every time that I get to wear some Max Gengos for H+H, I feel like I’m dreaming.

Max is just really such a badass beeb. I’ve had the chance to get to know him over the last year or so, and he’s such a down-to-earth, focussed, and TALENTED human. Ily Maxy.

The Max Gengos brand is a high-end, fashion-forward brand. So, I wouldn’t exactly go out in this stuff, as the quality & slow-fashion practices behind Max Gengos make this pieces pricey.

I feel fancy AF every time I wear his stuff for the blog, though. Also, lurve seeing that beebus every time our creative outlets bring us together! He’s way cooler than I am, but for some reason he keeps letting me bother him. I’ll take it.

So what are y’alls’ plans for Valentine’s Day weekend???

*can we just pause to acknowledge that I just focussed energy on putting the correct punctuation on the word ‘y’all’? That’s when you know you’re classy.*

As per usual, my friends & I are doing some GALentine’s celebrating tonight ( all of them have boyfriends & are reserved like complete losers on real Valentine’s Day ).

*Bitter*

Okay, I’m not bitter because I’m single ( because I need the single life & the single life needs me ), but because I LOVE celebrating Valentine’s Day with my friends. It’s the best excuse to make pretty champagne drinks & eat chocolate around a pretty party set-up.

What’s not to love?

But, whatever.

Drogo & I will celebrate V-day by sipping champs and watching the Kardashians. I guess I can’t really complain about that. He’s used to participating in themed events ( plz see his doggy birthday party for reference — LOL ).
