YASSSS, OMG.
I’ve been making this healthy french toast recipe A LOT lately ( remember my lil snapchat tutorial about it?? ), & it’s my new favorite make-at-home breakfast.
This meal feels like an ultra-indulgent, Sunday-morning-style breakfast, but it’s actually guiltless & can be made in around 10 minutes. It’s an all-around winner.
I thought this recipe would be a perfect way to start out the week! Honestly, I’ve had this for breakfast & for dinner a few times in the last couple weeks.
For my healthy french toast recipe, I used my favorite gluten-free multigrain bread ( Glutino Multigrain… found in the frozen section! ), but you could totally make this with regular multigrain bread as well.
As far as toppings, I’ve played around with what I use lately. I’ve done berries & a little maple syrup ( as seen here ), berries & almond butter, and berries & a little melted dark chocolate.
What You’ll Need
adapted from The Live Fit Girls / makes 1 serving
2 Slices of Multigrain Glutino Toast
2 Tablespoons of Almond Milk
2 Eggs
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Honey
Optional: Protein Powder for a lil kick. Find my favorite tasteless protein here.
1 Teaspoon Coconut Oil ( for greasing )
Toppings
How To
1. Heat a pan greased with coconut oil over low-medium heat.
2. Mix eggs, milk, cinnamon & honey in a small bowl, and transfer mixture into a low-set bowl or onto a plate.
3. Soak the bread for 15 seconds on each side.
4. Cook french toast 2-3 minutes on each side ( until golden brown ).
5. Top & Serve!
I can’t obsess over this healthy french toast enough. The love is real.

So, some updates: I’m currently planning early February’s trips to Houston ( using the Super Bowl as a reason to visit all of my college buds ) & to New York City ( for FASHION WEEK! ).
Will any of y’all be in Houston or New York next month??
I’m currently booking up collaborations, events, & shows for fashion week, and I couldn’t be more FREAKKKIN’ excited. I can’t say I’m looking forward to the frozen tundra-like weather in NYC, though.
I don’t even own a true “winter coat” at the moment….. LOL, HELP.
Anywho, hope this lil recipe was a happy start to your week, beebus girls. Let me know what you top yours with! xx
