Long time, NO TALK. I’ve missed my normal wine & no-pants, typing away on my computer-ritual ( AKA: my job ) this week.
My first Miami experience has been full of relaxing by the beach/pool, magnum bottles of rosé, french fries, art, and a solid language barrier between myself & every uber driver here.

After spending a week melting in the Southern Florida humidity, I’m pumped to return to flawless Southern California temperatures.

As I’ve talked about time & time again, I’m super specific when it comes to buying denim. Finding a flattering-fit jean, to me, is better than wine-drunk online shopping with someone else’s credit card while sitting in a hot tub full of queso.
Yes. I said it. I just combined three of my favorite things & said these jeans are better than them all occurring at once. So, you have to check them out.
I can’t stop wearing them. It’s getting kind of gross at this point, honestly.

ALSO, I’ve fallen head-over-heels in LURVE with this cross-body ( which is, sadly, out of stock! you can find bags with similar vibes here ) & this comfy flannel.
The bag is big enough to carry around all the things I usually need with me during the day, so it gets an A+ from me.
The flannel top comes in a number of colors, & it’s such an easy thing to throw on with jeans or shorts for daytime activities. I even draped it over a simple swimsuit on the beach in Miami this week.
Versatile. Comfortable. A good flannel is such a staple.
To keep warm in colder temps, I’m also loving this beige shearling coat, though I haven’t had much use for it in Southern California.
Anywhoooo, that’s it for today y’all! I’m currently typing away in the Nashville Airport, getting ready to board a 4 hour flight to LA.
I’ve stocked up on snacks, water, & unnecessary Hudson News items like an over-priced microfiber neck pillow. Ya know, airport essentials. Wish me luck.
