Fall in Santa Monica: Chunky Sweaters & Ripped Denim

Hellur, wieners.

“Fall” is upon us here in Santa Monica, which means it gets a little colder in windier in the mornings & at night.

Don’t worry, the days here in LA are still hot as balls. The drastic change during the darker hours is something to get used to, however. I could be in a swimsuit all day, & then suddenly need a huge cardigan & jeans ASAP.

What makes me REALLY happy about this weather change is wearing sweaters on the beach… I feel like I’m in an episode of Laguna Beach when I’m bundled up in a sweater & some ripped denim on the Santa Monica sand.

I used to be SO confused why all of the Laguna Beach peeps were wrapped up in their various Hollister hoodies, sitting around the fire by the ocean. Now– I get it. Because it gets pretttttttty damn cold near the shoreline ( “cold” for a Texas girl, at least ).

Shop Chunky Knits & Ripped Jeans

Of all the sweaters I own right now, this sassy Wildfox one is my favorite. It’s a little cropped, so I paired it with high-waisted jeans. This chunky knit & ripped denim combo just screams fall in southern California to me.
