Fall in Flynn Skye

I CAN’T get ENOUGH of Flynn Skye.

I would wear it every day if I wasn’t such a broke bitch. Let’s be real.

The good news ( for me ) is, I have a blogger roomie ( Molly, the beebus behind Trendy Chickadee ), & we wear the same size. Double the Flynn Skye for half the price. I can dig it.

Flynn Skye’s fall collection is every style-obsessed girl’s dream. The feminine silhouettes, blush & jewel tones, and floral patterns are KILLING. IT.

Molly and I chose a couple of our favorite blush-toned pieces, headed out to Thousand Oaks ( after stopping by Lemonade for cucumber mint lemonade & snacks… obviously ), and shot this collaboration on the side of a California-country road.

We almost got run over by like 8 semi trucks, but a little danger makes everything more exciting, right?

In true roomie fashion, Molly & I wear a LOT of the same brands. We both gave our Flynn Skye looks a little western flair with textured, pointed toe booties.

I’ll be living in my Matisse booties ( in black & in nude ) this fall. They’re chic, comfortable, & they give everything a Texas vibe ( like I talked about here! ).

Speaking of TEXAS, I’m having the best time being in my home state for the week. Yesterday, I brought lunch to my brother at my old school, & had a nice laugh at the fact that I thought my life was SO HARD floating around my private school in my little plaid, pleated skirt.

Then, we went to the country club where I again had to LOL internally at how ridiculous the bubble I grew up in for half my life is.

Living is Los Angeles for the short time I’ve been there has weirdly made me more realistic. I don’t know if thats LA’s normal effect on people, but its been a humbling experience for me.

Today, I drove to Dallas at the crack of ass to shoot a few looks with my FAV Dallas photog, Haley Ringo, & to brunch, shop, & check out Dallas’s Equinox location.

Tomorrow, I’m off to College Station to start my college friend reunion/tailgate/gameday experience early. I CAN’T WAIT to be back in my college town… but only for the weekend. Come Monday, I’m sure I’ll be ready to be back in sunny Los Angeles.
