So today I’m sharing a little detox water recipe that I absolutely fucking LOVE.
Sometimes, detox drinks are filled with some weirdo ingredients that taste like straight-up acid or just absolute CRAP. This is my go-to recipe because its refreshing, made with normal person ingredients, & it really does gently detox ( so bye-bye nasty-ass bloating & toxins! ).
I discovered this detox water ( AKA: Sassy Water ) a few years ago when I read the book Flat Belly Diet. For me, my belly has always been a ‘problem area.’ It’s really the only place that I’m a little self-conscious about ( bc everyone has SOMETHING! ).
I’ve found that ridding myself of toxins/getting digestion all in order cut down on bloat, & eventually my belly pooch! Going gluten-free was also a helpful remedy for feeling like ass all the time.
My version of Sassy Water is a little different from the original, because I’m way too lazy to be precise with measurements ( LOL– if y’all read H+H a lot, you’ve probably noticed this ). I just wanna throw something together to my tastes & be done with it.
I only stick to a precise recipe if it is absolutely necessary.

Because it is so gentle, you can drink this daily! I usually buy ingredients in bulk, and then make the water every night for the following day. I used a cute little carafe in this video, because I wanted y’all to be able to see everything clearly, but I usually just buy water gallons and add the ingredients directly to the jug.
Distilled water is apparently the best for this recipe!
Also, because the point of this drink is to detox/rid your bod of nastiness, I would try to to use organic ingredients if you can. Stay clean.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
♥ 1 Gallon of Filtered or Distilled Water
♥ Half an Organic Cucumber
♥ 1 Organic Lemon
♥ Bunch of Organic Mint
♥ Ginger Root
HOW-TO:
♥ Cut & Add All Ingredients to Water.
♥ Refrigerate Over-Night.
♥ Enjoy!

And really guys, it tastes so freaking good. There isn’t anything more refreshing than lemon, cucumber, & mint. Seriously, nothing.
The ginger adds an interesting subtle flavor, & also aids in digestion.
I’ve been drinking ginger tea on the reg lately, & it’s pretty amaze.
Detoxing should make you feel clean, energized, & satisfied. Yeah, we all want to look hot as hell, but nothing beats feeling like a million bucks.
