After a year of living in my current apartment, my bedroom was in MAJOR need of a refresh. To be quite honest, its taken me about a year to feel like I actually live in my place.
I have a tendency to put off nesting, if you will, because I’m usually ready to re-locate after a year spent in one apartment. This year, however, I’m staying put in my current location ( Century City ), because where I am in the city just can’t be beat ( for the price ), in my opinion. It’s central, yet quiet, and immaculately clean.
I considered moving in alone ( I have 2 roommates right now! ) and a little closer in to Beverly Hills for a time, but decided on spending another year saving my monies and living with roommates. I don’t want to get ahead of myself.
To celebrate finally feeling at home in my apartment, I’m refreshing my room with Urban Outfitters. UO is my go-to for apartment decor, because it’s affordable, cute & functional. I’m all about simplicity & comfort in my home, and UO definitely delivers on that front.
This go-around, I chose a jersey snooze set ( includes comforter + sheets/pillow cases ) in white + a fuzzy throw blanket to make my bed EXTRA soft. I also picked up a white throw pillow to spruce things up in an understated way.

My two BIG scores for my room are my full-length mirror ( I LOVE the raw wood look! ) & the bar cart I turned into a little shipping station ( I put my printer, labels, & packaging here to ship items from depop & SHOP H+H ).
These larger items shipped quickly & easily from UO, and I didn’t have to assemble anything, which is KEY, because I’m lazy & I’m not doing that.

Lastly, I picked up a few coffee table books + small decor items to add some personality to my otherwise simple decor. Urban Outfitters has a GREAT selection of items like this. Seriously, they curate this section so well.
( I also must add that they curate their kitchen items very well too ( maybe I’ll do a little kitchen update next?? ). )
I love collecting cool books for the little library I have started. Also, adding things like candles, trays, prints, & knick-knacks to my side tables makes me so happy. I get a lot of inspo from Pinterest for how to organize everything in a cute way on my bedside tables.
