Summer Room Refresh

Wassup.

Currently, I’m starting a week-long detox of sorts, attempting to prepare for a weekend ( + 4th of July ) of galavanting around in a swimsuit. This last weekend’s adventures landed me right in bloated-&-lazy land.

So, I’m not exactly feeling my best. I’m feeling very meh.

The plan this week? More water & produce, less salt & artificial sugars. And, obviously, less alcohol.

Do any of y’all have a go-to way to detox or feel a little less meh?? Lemme know!

Moving on to today’s topic-of-choice: my SUMMER ROOM REFRESH.

To celebrate my first full year in LA, I’ve partnered with Urban Outfitters to switch up my room for the summertime. If you want to see what my room looked like before, you can see that here.

ALSO, they’re having a 15% OFF HOME sale today! I wish I could say I planned to have this post go up during the sale, but I’m not that put-together, let’s be honest.

My most obvious update is the wallpaper I applied above/behind my bed. UO sells this super simple-to-apply wallpaper in wide strips, & I was able to apply it to my wall solo.

Another big update: this rose gold wall grid above my desk. I’ve attached a few shelves & clips for organization purposes.

In terms of room accessories: I scored a few pretty candles & a HUGE match jar ( NEW FAVORITE THING ), a bluetooth speaker, and a handy jewelry stand for my bedside tables.

Lastly, I got some new white sheets. There’s just something about a brand new set of sheets that makes me feel FRESH & CLEAN.

Are y’all inspired to make some lil changes yet?? Even the smallest room accessory additions can make a room feel new & updated. Because I spend so much time in my room ( work-from-home life ), it’s important to me to keep the vibe comfy & clean.

Making little changes every so often makes me more excited than it probably should ( LOL— is this adulting?? ). Admittedly, I live for things like new candles & XL match jars… lolz, anyone else feel me???
