I’ll admit: I’ve been SO late-to-the-party in terms of prepping for the holidays.
Case in point: I’ve been working on my gift guide/wishlist for H+H, and I CAN’T bring myself to finalize & post it. For some reason, I’m just having a lil mental block about it.
Because I’ve been traveling like crazy ( if you didn’t catch my Miami recap, view the post here! ), just getting in all the work I need to do while I’m here in LA has been a little… rough.
Also, I spent the last couple days staking out my Friday night Uber driver’s car, because I left my phone in it & he wouldn’t answer any of my phone calls.
I legit parked next to his car for six hours in total, reading books, drawing, going to the nearest Starbucks to pee every so often, & waiting for him to come to his car.
Yes, I’m psycho. ( BUT I DID GET MY PHONE BACK! Persistence, beebs, LOL ).
On Thursday, I’m off again, this time to the Bahamas ( well, most likely ) for a last minute family trip with my weird family. Remember how I explained our ferret-filled Thanksgiving experience?
Well, we also like to do this super fun thing where we don’t plan family trips until 3 days before we are supposed to leave. Usually, this tactic ends in us not going at all, so hopefully I AM basking in the island sun later this week.
Updates soon-to-come.
Then, I’ll be home in Texas for the holidays. Like I said, all over the place.
ANYWHO, in today’s segment of finally-getting-my-ass-into-holiday-gear, we’re talking holiday dresses.
I’ve been lucky enough to partner with Urban Outfitters to share with y’all some of my favorite swanky holiday dresses! For the holidays, swank is key.
I’m really digging flowing, silky dresses paired with ( faux ) fur or cable-knit sweaters for the next few weeks. You can be cozy & feminine at the same damn time.

Urban Outfitters is one of my favorite online ( & in-person ) destinations to shop for trendy clothing & accessories. UO’s apartment & gift sections are also killing it, too.
Do y’all remember my recent boho home decor & friendsgiving posts? Yeah, you could say Urban Outfitters has been my go-to for all things style & life lately.
I may or may not have this sequined mini dress & this shiny white mini in my shopping cart currently…. thinking birthday & New Year’s Eve thoughts.
What do y’all think???
Hoping everyone is having a happy holiday season so far! What are y’all wearing to get in the festive mood?
Talk soon, beebs. xx
