Is this skirt everything or what? In NYC, I styled it with this off-shoulder, dreamy top ( on sale now for $25 ), these Isabel Marant-esque shoes, & a more jazzy cross-body bag. You can also see it in this post styled a little differently.

I love this outfit because it is SO much cheaper than the digs you’ll be seeing ( or already have seen ) on all the big bloggers this summer. I mean, they all look phenomenal, but many of the styles they wear aren’t really realistic options for college students & young adults. This skirt & top combo can be purchased for under $80 in total. Steal.

I’m really diggin’ this whole 70s-inspired thing going on in the fashion world this spring/summer. It’s a pretty easy trend to incorporate into your style, and there are so many affordable options available at stores like H&M, Topshop, Zara, ASOS, & more. Those are my go-tos for summer style.

I wore this outfit exploring New York not too long ago, & it was perfect for a long, hot day ( I switched out the shoes for a more comfy pair, btw ).
