Dress // Shoes ( Similar ) // Bag // Shades
Hellllo, Lovelies.
Okay, so remember how I spent 23498 days in New York recently? Here’s a little bit of what I was up to.
The badass designer behind this little dress ( the Triton dress ) is none other than Max Gengos ( aka: Genius ). You’ve seen his work on the cover of Teen Vogue ( on Kylie Jenner ), on Hollywood starlets, featured on The Daily Front Row….. & here: On H+H. On me. Pinch me, because this is an F-ING dream if I’ve ever, ever had a dream in my entire life.
Okay… I’m having a moment, *breathe.*
Wanna know something kinda funny & slightly embarrassing? So, When I arrived in NYC, I had been traveling allll day ( it’s a long freakin’ way from Los Angeles… obviously ), and I showed up at the NoMo Soho hotel ( fav, fav, FAV ) looking like shit, feeling like shit, & wanting to die/sleep forever.
Literally AS I WALK INTO THE DOOR, I hear, “Oh.. you look familiar!” (…) *Cue me looking up from my millions of bags falling off of my limbs & pulling my rat’s nest of a mane out of my face* only to see Max Gengos himself ( holding this AMAZING dress ) walking towards me all God/genius-like. Of course. FML…. I was more ‘Backwoods East Texas Goddess of the Catfish Pond’ than ‘Posh & Chic in the City’… but I guess we can’t help who we are ( deep ). Max was the best nonetheless ( & I didn’t even fan-girl too obviously…. win ).
I’ll have another little ‘remember to breathe normally’ moment when I share my second look with Max Gengos ( out in the desert ) in another one of his stunning pieces. I Dieeeee.
Hope y’all enjoyed all of that second-hand embarrassment & ( more importantly ) how I dressed-down this super incredible mini. It’s just too perfect for words. So I’ll stop here.
xx
