Heyya Girly Galz.
Important Updates: I’ve been working on a really sweet little project with Planet Blue for the opening of the Planet Blue Houston store, & y’all are going to DIE. Planet Blue threads + Claire Huntsberger photography + Texas vibes = the best thing since, well, anything ever. Sooon, my people.
Also, I’m going CRAZY eating at restaurants here in Los Angeles for DINE LA ( a two-week event in which local restaurants offer full, 3-4 course meals for a set ( cheap AF ) price ). Considering I’m moving in less than a month, I figured I should take full advantage of the LA foodie scene, coupled with affordable prices… because nothing is ever affordable here. I just have to try out more restaurants for my GUIDE TO LOS ANGELES… right?? It’s “research.” Follow along the foodie adventures on Snapchat (payton_sartain) & Instagram.
Okay, so: these 4-Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies.
I’ve been a fan of the recipe for awhile now ( I found it at the beginning of College ), and it’s my usual ‘I’m hungry at 2 AM & there’s nothing sweet to eat’ recipe. It’s super quick & simple ( if y’all have been reading H+H for a bit now, you know this is kind of my ‘thing’ ), not HORRIBLE for you, and actually so incredibly delish. Here’s the dealio…
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
♥ 1 Cup Peanut Butter
♥ 1 Cup Sugar
♥ 1 Tsp Baking Soda
♥ 1 Egg
HOW TO MAKE
♥ Preheat oven to 350°
♥ Mix together PB & Sugar, and then stir in the Baking Soda & Egg.
♥ Scoop cookies onto lined baking sheet, about 1 Tablespoon ( or more ) per cookie.
♥ Optional: with a fork, create the lattice-effect ( idk why, but I’m weird and I think they taste & look better when you do this… *not scientifically proven, but whatever* )
♥ Bake for about 10 minutes, or a couple minutes more if you like your cookies more crispy.
♥ Eat them all in one sitting.
Eeeeep, I’m getting a sweet tooth just thinking about them.
Like I said, these aren’t HORRIBLE for you, but I wouldn’t say they’re exactly nutritious either. I recommend this recipe for a little sugar fix…. aka don’t be me & actually eat them all in one sitting. I need to stop doing that.
They’re super addicting, so beware.
You’ve been warned.
