I REFUSE to acknowledge that summer is technically over, so let’s just blow past that from the get-go. Luckily, I live in Los Angeles, a place where summer never really ends.
This long weekend was CRAZY in the best way. I’m needing a detox PRONTO.
I spent a few ( blurry ) nights running around LA with friends, basked on the beach in Venice all of saturday ( rosé in-hand ), and spent sunday tailgating & watching college football. Today’s to-do list: CHILL on the couch, chug water, & binge-watch Friends with Drogo.
Because I was all over the place this weekend, I’m one long-ass cleaning day & one long-ass sit in the steamroom away from feeling ready for New York Fashion Week ( starting this Thursday! ).
There’s something about getting everything back in order that makes me relaxed & revitalized. I guess you could say I’m a total Monica ( in the spirit of binge-watching friends ) when it comes to organization & cleanliness. But, when the weekend hits, I become more of a Rachel for about 48 hours.
LOL, Friends metaphors.
Though I do value having my shit together, planning, & keeping my apartment nice and clean, it’s crazy weekends like this that remind me to chill out on the to-do list & just HANG OUT.
I had a chance to re-connect with old college friends & meet some new people, and socializing didn’t feel like such a chore ( introvert problemz ). I’m so grateful to be able to surround myself with the people that I do.
I have the most amazing friends & family, and I totally don’t take enough time to thank them for being the best. Need to remember to be better about that ( don’t we all?? ).
AND, I’m riding that grateful high as I head to New York for fashion week on Thursday, an experience that makes me feel ultra-blessed as it is. Do any of you just look at your life wondering how you got so lucky??
I’m into it.

perfect-fit black mini dress
CUTEST red polka-dot mini dress
sassy understated cheetah dress
flattering AF denim cut-offs
I CANNOT get over this cute-as-hell pinstripe mini from Reformation. In my eyes, Ref can do know wrong.
I want EVERYTHING on their website right now, from the mini dresses to the perfect-fit denim. I truly think it’s one of the best brands in terms of fit & quality of the clothing. It’s a little more expensive than fast-fashion options, but it’s SO worth it for staple pieces, in my opinion.
Claire & I shot this look at a 50s-style diner near our apartment, which turned into a french fry & milkshake-filled feast ( not complaining ).
I threw on a pair of retro shades & my palm-tree sneakers ( ON SALE RN! ) with this mini dress, and I ended up DIGGING this outfit so much.
I’d also love this dress with espadrilles or heeled sandals. You could really go so many different directions styling it.
Thoughts?? Do y’all like??
That’s it for today, gals. Take this post as a reminder to browse the Reformation site AND to take a second to be grateful for the people around you. Make sure you’re always surrounding yourself with the best of the best.
Talk soon xx

Super cute outfit!!! Totally agree about your love for Reformation.
Question for you – how would you recommend a person with bigger boobs (D-DD cup) wear this dress and other similar styles?? I always find myself not buying things like this because it seems complicated, even if I’m obsessed with the piece.
I haven’t found a brand of sticky boobs that I like or work well (and ideally I could find a different alternative to sticky boobs because…ew).
Thanks!

Hey Lola!
So, one of my good girlfriends has much larger boobs ( I, personally, am a D cup– but my boobs are weird and I don’t really have to wear a bra ), and she swears by some of reformation’s styles, saying that it’s easy to hide a bra under them OR they’re tight enough to support her boobs with the dress itself ( she likes the straight-across neckline for this ).
Hahaha, yeah, sticky boobs aren’t my fav, but when I wear them, I like the kind from Nudwear, because they’re ULTRA sticky and they make styles that have lace and different colors so it almost doesn’t even look like a sticky bra ( I wear them with black lace tops and it just looks like the top has a built-in bra. Hope this helps!
