Summer in LA | Malibu Wine Safaris

Ahhhh, finally. Monday.

I’ve been looking for a good reason to get my shit in order for the week, & the arrival of this very day is reason enough. There’s something so relaxing about getting things cleaned, making appointments & planning out the next few weeks ahead.

Today, I’m expanding my travel category to travel & experiences, so I can highlight various experiences in my local area for those of you who may be interested in the activities/weekend trips/experiences LA has to offer.

I’m all about summertime adventures.

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to tour Malibu Wine Safaris with my photog-friend, Nicole.

Malibu Wine Safaris is a bit of a trek from most parts of LA, but it’s a great weekend activity for those of you looking to escape the city.

I recommend booking a safari tour for mid-to-late morning & sticking around for the tasting room post-tour ( because the tour doesn’t get you quite weekend-level tipsy, just sayin’ ).

It was kind of surreal to see such a HUGE, BEAUTIFUL vineyard so close to the city of Los Angeles. I live in the Santa Monica area, not too far from Malibu Wines, & it was like stepping into a completely different world, just a few miles down the PCH.

Some of the tour highlights: the wine ( duh ), stanley the giraffe ( my new boyfriend ), the calm/quiet vibes that accompany a relaxing day in Malibu.

Nicole & I admittedly had minor ( major… ) crushes on the CUTE AF tour guides, too. So.

So, if you’re looking for a day getaway here in Los Angeles, Malibu Wine Safaris has ya covered. Not to mention, it’s an amazing place to get pictures.

Sometimes, I can’t believe I get to go hang in beautiful locations like this, drink wine, & bullshit with my girlfriends…. as my job. WTF.

I’m hereby dedicating this post to Stanley & all of my cute wine safari boyfriends that I’ll probably never see again. Nicole & I LOVED our tour!
