The Feminine-Boho Home Guide

Happy Hump Day morning to all!

I lose all track of time during the week, so looking up to see it was Wednesday was like… whah where has this week gone?

This weekend, my plan was to head to Texas to catch the first Texas A&M football game with friends & family, but NYFW prep has put my college-nostalgia-induced dreams on hold until later in the season.

UGH— but also YASS, Fashion Week. I’m headed to New York on Tuesday, & you can catch all of that good stuff ( & NYFW prep ) on snapchat, as per usual.

So. I shared a bit about my new apartment here in LA on snap/instagram already, but I wanted to get more into detail about how we ( my roomies, Molly & Karley, and I ) curated our zen, boho-glam space.

We kept the general color scheme pretty neutral and worked with metallics & natural textures, and added some cozy touches with candles & table-top decor.

I got lucky with the master bedroom, because I NEED my space. I lived alone for two years prior to moving in with roommates a couple months ago, so I got used to having a lot of extra room, bathroom, & closet space.

Returning to my spacey, organized & COLD room ( I’m definitely the type of person who keeps my place at a cool 69° ) is the best part of my day. I turn my diffuser on, light a candle, & just CHILL.

I thought it was worth it to pay little extra rent per month to have those relaxing moments every day, ya feel?

Another little tip: you can buy cute little decor items ( candles, coffee table books, objects, etc. ) on Etsy, Gilt, Anthropologie, or in vintage shops! It’s usually cheaper that way.
